New tendencies on Browser world

Internet users have always been accustomed to see Internet Explorer as the main (and sometimes only) browser, but over the last year Microsoft's browser has lost some share for it's competitors.

If we check updated statistics, comparing share between December 2010 and October 2011, it is possible to see that Internet Explorer has lost around 7% of its users, especially for Chrome - Google's browser - that presents a growth of more than 7%, as well as for Safari (Apple) - this with a more modest growth, around 5.4%.

Today, Internet Explorer still has the largest share of users - 52.63% -, followed by Mozilla's Firefox, with 22.52%.

On the Mobile section, Safari (Apple) is the most popular and the one with the largest share, over 62% (an increase of 12% since December 2010). Android Browser - along with the tendency of "Mobilization" of technologies - also presents positive results, with a growth of 7%, being prefered by 18.6% of users.
